I was 850ilvl the first time I ever even did normal Emerald nightmare. Only 3 or 4 pieces from the actual raid itself. I've done 7/7H 859ilvl and most of my gear has come from upgraded WQ and mythic dungeons. Its ridiculous how I can get a piece of gear that upgraded to 880, then next week the SAME piece of gear can drop for a guildie from the SAME boss but be 15 ilvls lower and have no gem socket or something. I think being able to upgrade your items 1 or 2 times with valor points or some type of point system would be a good idea, since the gear dropping from bosses would be the same ilvl every time, and after you get it, you have to upgrade it. I won a set of 865 Heroic gloves from EN the other day, next day I go do a WQ and my the glove reward from the WQ upgraded to 870, and replaced my gear I just got in a raid. All it does is make it take way longer to get geared. With the whole titan forged system, you can win gear in normal mode thats better than heroic, or even mythic if you get lucky. What is wrong with that? You progress into normal, get geared with 850, progress into heroic, get geared with 865, and so on. No chances for the 850ilvl gear to proc to 880ilvl, or to 865ilvl, etc. Using the old gearing system, emerald nightmare would be By the way i'm not sure exactly how the system was during WoD, I didn't really play too much, so if this warforged/titanforged thing was available during WoD then I guess the devs have been braindead for two xpacs now. The entire titanforged/warforged thing, to me, has completely ruined gearing in this game.īesides the absolutely ridiculous gearing system, this xpac is awesome.
